Laima has been working as a musician since 2004, performing her solo project, DJing as Mixhell, collaborating with various artists and touring as a part of the Belgian band Soulwax.

Since 2021, Laima has been half of the duo InnerSwell, a participation project focusing on sound and accessibility based at Gasworks Gallery, London.

In 2025, Laima will be a resident artist at EMS (Elektronmusikstudion), Stockholm, Sweden
